I started writing software because of what it does for people, and I still pick work that way. Chef Buddy exists because the four apps we were using at home didn’t talk to each other.

Chef Buddy
A cooking platform that keeps recipes, meal plans, shopping and the cooking itself in sync for everyone in a household. Native on iPhone and iPad, with a web companion and admin on its own API. The AI does real work in it: reading recipes, planning the week, answering questions mid-cook.
Not prompt tips. Custom agents that do a specific job, agentic workflows wired into the systems you already run, and the plumbing underneath — tool use, context, evaluation, and the guardrails that stop it embarrassing you in front of a customer.
It starts from your use case, not from a model. Chef Buddy is what that looks like when it’s finished.
Agents built for one job, and built to be trusted with it
Agentic workflows that touch your real tools and data
AI put inside a product, not bolted on as a chat box
Evals, cost and failure handling before it goes live
Working out whether AI is even the right answer
